Vincent Francis

In loving memory of Vincent Francis who passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on August 31st, 2017 at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband Norma Cain (predeceased). Loving father of Kevin Cain of Sault Ste. Marie and Theresa Cain of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Otis Cain, Emma Cain, Bethany Cain and Trevor Cain. Dear brother of Weldon of Nova Scotia, Esther of Nova Scotia, Bertha (predeceased) and Curtis (predeceased). Vincent was born in Weymouth, Nova Scotia on May 1st, 1926 to parents Violet and Burgess. For over 35 years, he worked as a miner for INCO in the Sudbury area. Some of his favourite pastimes were watching baseball and hockey. Vincent will be remembered as a simple man who enjoyed family gatherings and keeping up with things at home. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held in Nova Scotia at a later date.
