Wallace Burton

In loving memory of Wallace Burton, 82 years, who passed away at Extendicare Falconbridge in Sudbury on Monday, May 15th, 2017. Beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Milley), predeceased May 22nd, 2016. Loving father of Elaine Budgell (husband Glenn) of Sudbury and Corbin Burton of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Christopher Burton, Morgan Burton and Alexandria Budgell. Dear brother of Murray (wife Hilda), Roy (late wife Marie), Oliver (late wife Sheila), the late Kevin (surviving wife Lorraine), the late Hazel Pittman (husband Clifford predeceased), Joy Paddock (late husband Munn) and Kay Rowsell (late husband Ross), all of Newfoundland. Wallace was born in Beaumont, Newfoundland on August 23rd, 1934, dear son to Ella and Joseph, both predeceased. In the late 1960's, he moved to the Sudbury area, residing in Falconbridge for the most part, and worked as a miner for Falconbridge. In his healthier years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, watching hockey on t.v. and spending quality time at camp with his family. Wallace will be remembered as a man of few words and for his great love of his family. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation at Lakeview Crematorium.
