EASTER, William “Wil” 1976-2022
It is with sorrow and sadness that the family announces his passing on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Maison McCulloch Hospice after his battle with cancer at the age of 45 years.
Best friend of 29 years to Lucy Gideon and loving father to Brendan and Megan. Dear son of Bernie (Susan) and Patricia (predeceased) Easter. Brother to Mindy and Martin. Wil will be lovingly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his friends and everyone who knew him.
Wil was born in Sudbury on December 20, 1976. He held several jobs from brick laying as a young adult to mortgage agent to telephone sales representative. He enjoyed working and helping others become better at their jobs as well. He loved the outdoors, hiking, fishing, blueberry picking, camping, biking, and just being outside. He enjoyed playing games with friends. Wil loved the Maple Leafs and rarely missed a game. He is most likely cheering them on from the other side.
His memory will continue to beat in our hearts as we mourn his loss forever. Wil we miss you so much already.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place in the summer of 2022 for family and friends. Details will be shared at a later date. Services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.
