William “Bill” Ward

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announces the passing of Bill Ward, who left us on November 02, 2020 at the age of 60 years.
Bill was born on December 04, 1959, the son of the late Douglas Albert Ward and Isabel Ward (Nee Linton). Bill will be greatly missed by his loving spouse Darlene Johnston. His children, Emily Best (Carl), Hope Dalton (Chris). His stepchildren, Lee Johnston, Kirstin Johnston, Bruce Johnston (Ashley), Brandon Johnston. His siblings, Steven Ward, Heather Joyce (Ian), Beverly Young (Dan - predeceased). Nieces and nephews, Andrew Joyce, Ashley Joyce, Karl Young, Patrick Young, Ward Young and grand-children, Eli Dalton, Nora Dalton, Miles Dalton, Caleb, Khloe, Deveron, Jaivyn, Freyja and Chantell.
Bill served our country in the Canadian Navy and went on to serve with the Knights of Columbus. He was also a very outdoorsy person and went on many camping trips with Darlene, who will continue with his camping tradition.
Anyone who knew Bill knew that he was someone who left an impression and he will be deeply miss by all his family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North.
