It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wilmer Edgar Dittburner at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, Tuesday April 7 2020, at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of the late Donna lynne Dittburner (2014). Loving father of the late Bryan (1988), Wendy Patterson (Derek). Proud Papa of Bryce (Emma), Ryan (Brielle), and Kaitlyn Patterson. Father in-law and fishing buddy of the late Jim Patterson (2015). Missed by his kitty Fluff. Son of the late Edgar and the late Alma Dittburner. Loving brother of Elaine Weiman (late Alvin), late Wally (Gwen), Eunice Howard (late Allan), Cameron (Bella) and the late Lloyd (Loralei). Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Wilmer was a man of few words, who was loved by all who knew him. His favorite saying was " OH WELL" which more often than not meant " Should I have another Rye". He loved to be on the lake in his boat, with fishing rod in one hand and a smoke in the other. "fly with the angels Dad" . A celebration of life will be held at a later date and a burial will be at Civic Cemetery Sudbury at a later date. Cremation arrangements in care of Simple Wishes of the North Sudbury.
